When applied correctly, our adhesives can provide retention of up to 8 weeks. However, factors such as application technique, client aftercare, adhesive’s quality and environmental conditions can influence longevity.

Unopened, our adhesives have a shelf life of 6 months. Once opened, for optimal performance, it's best to use the adhesive within 4 weeks. Proper storage in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight will help maintain its effectiveness. We recommend storing adhesives in an airtight container.

Simply choose from our lash remover collection, apply a generous amount to the base of the lash extensions, and wait 5–10 minutes. Use a flocked applicator or tweezers to gently remove the extensions, wipe off any residue with adhesive wipes, and finish with a lash bath.

Struggling with retention? Don’t worry—it’s common, and there are a few easy things you can check to improve it. Here are our top tips for maximising lash retention: 

• Choose the right adhesive for your skill level. If you're a beginner or intermediate artist, avoid fast-setting glues. Opt for a slower-drying option like Smart Adhesive to give yourself more time for proper placement and direction. 
• Start with clean lashes. Ensure your client’s natural lashes are completely clean—free from makeup, oils, or residue. A lash bath with a lash shampoo can make a big difference. 
• Check your glue’s freshness. Opened adhesives should be used within 4 weeks. If it smells unusually strong, feels stringy, or doesn't bond well, it's time to replace it. Tip: Write the open date directly on the bottle. 
• Control your lash room environment. Adhesives work best in their recommended temperature and humidity range. If the glue is curing too slowly, increase the humidity or temperature; if it’s drying too fast, reduce the humidity or temperature. 
• Refresh your glue drop regularly. Dispense a new drop every 15–20 minutes during application to ensure optimal bonding strength. 
• Focus on proper attachment. Make sure the base of the extension is fully bonded to the natural lash with at least 2mm of contact. Avoid gaps and consider using flatter curls like B or C if you’re still building confidence. 
• Use the right amount of glue. Using too little glue can cause lashes to fall off quickly, and too much can lead to stickies or discomfort. For classic lashes, a small bead at the base is enough. For premade fans, adjust based on fan size—use slightly more glue for lower dimensions (like 3D) and dip only 2mm of the base for higher dimensions (like 10D).
